HELLO! Thank you for visiting my website. My name is Sophie Henderson, and I'm a North East based landscape photographer. I've always been creative and loved art. When a school photography project sparked my interest, I knew it was something I wanted to pursue.

After studying photography at university, I graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) and have been lucky enough to turn my passion into a business. I began trading at Tynemouth Market in August 2015, alongside my work in school photography. By 2022 I took the leap to focus on Sophie Photography full time, and I've never looked back.

I'm continually inspired by the coastlines, moorlands and landmarks of the North East, and I hope my images help others see the beauty I find here every day.

Away from the landscapes, 2026 saw me launch my second business, Little Somewhere Studio, a newborn, family and maternity photography studio set in the beautiful countryside of the Blagdon Estate.
