Who you are buying from

This site is run by Sophie Photography, a small independent business run by Sophie Henderson. You can reach us at info@sophiephotography.co.uk.

Products

Everything in the shop is a photographic print, made to order in the size and finish you choose. Prints are supplied in a textured cream cardboard mount, and framed options come in a black woodgrain or French oak effect finish. Because each print is made individually, and because screens vary, small differences in colour and tone between your screen and the finished print are normal.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling and no VAT is charged as Sophie Photography is not VAT registered. Delivery is calculated at checkout based on the size of your order, starting from £2.85 for a small mounted print. Payment is taken through Stripe, and your card details are entered on Stripe's secure payment page rather than on this site.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you the order confirmation email. If something is unavailable or a price is clearly wrong, we may decline the order and refund you in full.

Delivery

Orders are dispatched within 48 hours. Everything is sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48. Delivery timescales are those quoted by Royal Mail and are aims rather than guarantees, as once a parcel is posted it is out of our hands.

Damage, cancellation and returns

If your order arrives damaged, contact me within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage and the packaging, and I will send a replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer.

If you change your mind, you have 14 days from the day your order arrives to let me know, and a further 14 days to return it. Items need to come back unused and in their original condition, and return postage is paid by you unless the item is faulty. I will refund you within 14 days of receiving the return.

Custom orders, such as bespoke print sizes and commissions, are made especially for you and cannot be returned unless faulty. Unused gift vouchers can be cancelled within 14 days of purchase. None of this affects your statutory rights.

Refunds are made to the original payment method.

Gift vouchers

Gift vouchers are available in amounts from £10 to £100 and are delivered by email as a code. They do not expire. To use one, add prints to the basket, enter the code in the gift voucher field on the basket page, then continue to payment. The voucher is taken off the order total, and any unspent balance stays on the code for next time. If the voucher covers the whole order there is nothing left to pay. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

All photographs on this site are the copyright of Sophie Henderson. They may not be copied, reproduced, printed, edited or used commercially without written permission. Buying a print gives you the print itself, not the rights to the image.

Our responsibility to you

If we get something wrong, we will put it right, but we are only responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for business losses, and nothing here limits our liability where the law does not allow it, including for faulty goods or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
