Cullercoats Bay Sunrise

£12.50

Winter sunrise over a rough sea, the low sun bursting into a starburst above the horizon and laying a column of gold across the swell as white water piles over the curved stone pier. The lifeboat station sits below the cliffs with Tynemouth's rooftops and spire backlit along the skyline.

Cullercoats is a small sandy bay enclosed by twin piers, long loved by generations of visitors and bathers. Its Victorian RNLI lifeboat station is still active today, and the Watch House keeps its post at the top of the north bank.
