Sir Bobby Robson

Sir Bobby Robson was one of football's great managers and one of the North East's favourite sons, knighted in 2002 for services to the game he graced with England, some of Europe's biggest clubs and finally Newcastle United. He died in 2009, and his legacy lives on through the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, the cancer charity he founded.
