Tyneside Cinema Gold Colour Pop
£12.50
High Friar Lane on a winter evening, fairy lights strung overhead and the TYNESIDE CINEMA letters glowing gold as the only colour in the frame, while a lone coffee drinker sits at a table outside. Portrait format, warm and art-house.
Tyneside Cinema was founded in 1937 by Dixon Scott, great uncle of Sir Ridley and Tony Scott, as a newsreel theatre bringing the news of the world to everyone. It is the UK's last surviving newsreel cinema, still showing films beneath its original Art Deco interiors.
