Autumn in Jesmond Dene

£12.50

Jesmond Dene in the colours of autumn, an old stone bridge arching across the burn as the waterfall tumbles through the woodland beyond. A peaceful glimpse of one of Newcastle’s most treasured green spaces, hidden just beyond the bustle of the city.

Jesmond Dene follows the wooded valley of the Ouseburn and was developed in the 19th century by industrialist William Armstrong. Gifted to the people of Newcastle in 1883, its winding paths, historic bridges and waterfalls have made it a favourite escape for generations.
