The Angel of the North Golden Hour, shown mounted at 8x6" print (10x8" mount)

The Angel of the North Golden Hour

£12.50

A clear summer evening with the low sun raking across the sculpture, turning the weathered steel a rich glowing rust against a clean blue sky. The only print in the set where the Angel is lit rather than silhouetted, and the classic view.

Antony Gormley's Angel of the North has stood on its hilltop beside the A1 at Gateshead since 1998 and has become one of the most recognisable artworks in Britain. It stands 20 metres tall with a wingspan of 54 metres and weighs 200 tonnes.
