Tommy In Memory

Tommy photographed square-on under flat seafront light, head bowed and rifle at his knee, with the red poppy wreath at his feet holding the only colour in the frame. The steel, the pebbles and the coast behind fall away in monochrome. Portrait format, made for remembrance.
