Blyth Beach Huts Colour Pop

The row of ten huts holding their full colour while the sky, sand and bank fall away to black and white, a great sweep of cumulus overhead in the monochrome. Bright hard sunlight picks out every painted door. Landscape format, the beach huts at their most graphic.

The Blyth beach huts were built as part of the multi-million-pound regeneration of the seafront, which also brought a plaza, performance amphitheatre and adventure play area. Each hut was individually named by local school children, whose artwork is displayed inside, and they can be hired for the day through the council in the summer months.
